I am traveling on my own through Europe this December. Part of my plan is to visit the red light areas of most places. I haven't traveled much so I am looking for advice and suggestions. Any one know any good places to visit? What should I stay away from, etc.
I would be happy if someone familiar with Brussels mentions a nice adult entertainment teather or club or something. The only red light area I know is the street with the 'windows' right outside Brussel Noord station. I'm very familiar with Brussels but I never heard of any "nice adult entertainment teather" here unless you count "travesti" cross-dressing e. Madame Moustache and largely gay cabarets like Chez Maman. To locate sex-workers, I imagine you would do better using google rather than a travel website.
I believe the red light districts are part of the tourist attractions in the big cities. But it looks like Brussels doesn't have much to offer. Even the guys at www. I am still looking for some interesting stories though. I am not aware of a red light district - the way you might find in Amsterdam - in London , either.
